For many years, my family has enjoyed a tasty string bean casserole alongside the traditional servings of turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. It’s a family tradition that I may not have had the fortunate opportunity to experience if I had never met my wife, the one who prepares this holiday delight.
While it’s a simple recipe to make, it’s a welcome side dish, made with love and a personal touch, on a holiday when we give thanks for the things that truly matter. And it’s savored in good company, making for a yearly, memorable food experience.
Happy Thanksgiving! Bon appetit!
