New Meaning to Wearing a Mask on October 31st

Tonight’s annual celebration of donning a mask or any other covering that is meant to provoke a scary response or a sense of awe from others hopefully will not be overshadowed by what has become the common-place attire of mask-wearing during the last several months. At the same time, we are aware of the importance of following public health guidelines intended to minimize the spread of the virus that has plagued most of 2020.

For those of you who celebrate the October thirty-first holiday abounded with tricks and treats, Happy Halloween! And however you choose to celebrate, remember to keep yourself and others safe by wearing a mask (whether it’s a part of your costume or not) and maintaining a safe, social distance if you’re out in public.
