A Warm-hearted Thanks to Women

WeCanDoIt_Int_Womens-Day
In observance of International Women’s Day, I would like to say thank you to all the women, past and present, who made an indelible impression on me and, for this reason, helped to make me a better person. These women include my wife, mother, late maternal and paternal grandmothers, aunts, cousins, school teachers, former college professors and advisors, and former supervisors. Yes! Many women have had a positive impact on me and I am grateful to all of them 🙂

I would also like to say thank you to the women who share their interests and ideas through blog pages and other media platforms. I’ve enjoyed reading blogs published by different women and have admired the passion they have for their chosen topic. They offer fascinating write-ups that have captured the interest of many and reflect their insight, intelligence, and creativity.

For women bloggers and those outside the blogosphere, advocating for women’s rights and striving to make our world a better place to live, they are equally deserving of this praise. I’m a guy who came to appreciate the fact that the efforts of these women, in one form or another, have helped the women in my life. To them, I say “thank you” for championing a worthy cause that promotes equality and respect for all women (a health-promoting practice for both men and women to take up).

Let’s All Celebrate

Celebrate International Women’s Day by remembering and thanking the women who have made a positive impact on your life and in your community. You may want to also consider participating in an event that commemorates the contributions women have made to society.
